The purpose of this project is to understand how forget urban spaces plunder be used to gauge, facilitate and further understand the companionable dynamics of two neighboring communities. In particular I will be looking into the relationship between disregarded urban spaces around Clapham Junction and their role in the tensions between communities during the London riots of 2011. I will also demonstration by intervention that design can foster and promote the colloquy between the two spectrums of the brotherly class.
To do this firstly I will map forgotten urban spaces to further locate and identify links or boundaries between the two communities. precisely foremost I need to understand what are forgotten urban spaces.
The concept of non-place was first introduced by the French anthropologist Marc Augé he separates non-places as;
