Timothy Weaver The Scholar-Practionior Model for Masters take aim Students PSY5002 orientation in Graduate Learning in psychology Dr. Bar-Navon September 30, 2012 Abstract This report card allows to me look at what I consider to be a scholar-practitioner. I started proscribed by looking up the definition of practitioner, and found that is a practice of a specific reputation (Practitioner, 2011). The dictionary alike told me that a scholar is defined as a somebody who studies under a teacher or a soulfulness who has done advanced study in a extra domain of a function (Scholar, 2011). Given, the two definitions, a scholar-practitioner is a person who is studying to do advanced practice in field. Graduate students in psychology often go on to become either educators or go in to a practice and obtain their doctoral degree, I feel this describes me as a scholar-practitioner.

The Scholar-Practitioner Model for Masters Level Students When I decided to enter graduate school, I had a seeable amount of questions that was running through my head about inquiry, expectations, and if my chase would allow me to continue in my research compass of interest.
