Personal Statement

I woke up to the ringing sound of my alarm on an early September morning. It was the first day of eighth grade, only if I was off to the local high train for an march on math class. I could feel eyes burning on my back and whispers surrounding the halls as I made my route to class. The bell rang just as I found my behind and the room fell silent upon my entrance. The words nerd and snowflake made there way around the room. The excessive fear was unwanted and certainly overwhelming. I remember quietly anathema my father for pushing me into registering for a math class beyond my socio-economic classs. I wished I could be a normal student, knowledge normal subjects alongside everyone else.
Average has never been considered an option in my family. My father made every effort to show my brother and me the importance of education, family values, and the benefits of earned success. In doing so, he instilled in me the same(p) fervor for achieving excellence in education. My father dedicated his bearing to encouraging me to try, to the best of my ability, to become a successful untried woman and thriving academic.
