Effects of population engrossment and noise
The effects of population density and noise can be pernicious to a society. Overcrowding reachs a domino effect on most queen-sized urban aras. This domino effect begins as large masses of people move into a big metropolis in search of wealth, community, and safety. As the number of citizens increase noise, and the density of the population grow larger. Territoriality, privacy, and personal space become issues with the general man. The cities grow larger and occupy all available space to accommodate newcomers to the area. Natural settings are replaced by building and some other architectural structures to provide amenities to the residents of the urban area. The following root has been written in an attempt to explain the ramifications of population density and noise in the urban environment.
Concepts of territoriality, privacy, and personal space
Within the telescope of population density several factors encompass the sustainability of large urban areas.
Estimates show that around half of the worlds population will live in large cities by 2015 (Urban Environments and gracious Behavior, 2004). Territoriality, privacy, and personal space are three of these important factors. Characteristics of cities are composed of culture, ethnic groups, religion, economic status, and complaisant diversity that create stressful living conditions (Urban Environments and Human Behavior, 2004). This wide array of social issues exposes people to a multitude of environmental stressors daily do people living in large cities to adjust their way in reference to territoriality, privacy, and personal space.
